Native American Indian Procession : Native American Indians from all over the world marched from the mall (near the National Museum of the American Indian (newest Smithsonian Institute museum).

This was an historical event, because it was the first time that over hundreds of tribes gathered together in Washington, D.C. in the history of the United States of America. Representatives from 500 tribes were in attendance.

I must add that I am proud to have witnessed this event with my own eyes. I think I worked my camera non-stop for about 2 hours. I did not get to sit back and enjoy what was going on. I did not even get a chance to nod at my camera. :-) But it was worth it once I got home and opened every image. It was like Christmas time. :-)
